Bradley torreano

Producer Brad Torreano worked from 1996 to 2003 in the world of independent film in Southeast Michigan as an editor on multiple short and feature length films. While he had a formal education at Eastern Michigan University, it was this time working for various directors and producers that introduced him to cutting edge editing tools and digital cameras that most universities still hadn’t adopted as part of their education.

He transitioned to work on corporate and non-profit videos, acting as a producer, director and editor for Russell Video. Brad worked on major online and television campaigns for Southeast Michigan companies and was hired as an events producer to create quick-turnaround videos for corporate live events.

In 2020 Brad joined former LLamasoft CEO Don Hicks on multiple artistic projects, including his software company Saganworks and a nonprofit venture he funded, CultureVerse. The former, an app that “gamifies” data curation in 3D spaces, debuted in 2021, while the latter is currently working with arts organizations and artists with two purposes: creating online galleries for artists that do not have access to in-person galleries, and scanning/archiving art and statues for historical documentation.

Brad started Sunne Side Productions in 2022 with the intention of producing his first feature, Introducing… Marcus Belgrave. This led to creating a relationship with Brigitte Berman, producer/director of the Oscar-winning documentary Artie Shaw: Time Is All You’ve Got.  Berman was looking for a partner to help manage a donation to get that film restored and re-mastered, after decades of unavailability, so Sunne Side co-ordinated the 4K restoration of that film.
